BFA at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya

Erstwhile University of Sagar which was established in July 1946 was later renamed as Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya and was upgraded to a Central University in 2009. Spread in 1300 acres, it offers a panorama of learning in Technology, Science, Arts, Humanities and Education streams. The university has 11 Schools, and these schools have conducted major research programmes alongwith traditional postgraduate programmes. The globally recognized Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) of teaching and continuous internal evaluation is successfully implemented in the University. The Central University has adopted semester system and implemented CBCS in its first session. It was accredited grade A by NAAC in 2007.
